Sales Trends
At one time, Miami was one of the most sought after housing markets in the country. Abundant jobs available and a growing interest in the Miami culture brought thousands of new residents into the area. Condominiums all along the coast were sold rapidly as more young people moved to the area. The market has slowed down in recent years as jobs begin to thin and home prices fall. The Miami housing market is still making sales at 7,846 in 2008; but not at the levels it saw before. Experts believe that the Miami market will take off again as tourism and other business sectors begin to pick up again. « Close »
